Congratulations to A.L.K Warriors team and Deceipticons team. Both of these TRS Robotic Teams will be competing at this year’s Robotics State Competition in Chandler on March 9th. The two teams qualify for a spot in state competition based on their achievements. Go TRS Warrior Bots!!!
Team 32688B – A.L.K. Warrior.Adara Riley, Leigha Quay, Kuipoo Pike earned two awards:
- Excellence Award – The Excellence Award is the highest award presented in the VEX IQ Challenge. This award is presented to a team that exemplifies overall excellence in creating a high quality VEX robotics program. This team is a strong contender in numerous award categories. Excellence winners must have an Engineering Notebook and a STEM Research Project presentation.
- STEM (Math) Research Project – The focus for this project was to have students learn about the relationship among the STEM fields of science, technology, engineering, and math. Each season one of the fields is featured providing the students with an opportunity to learn more about how it relates to robotics and how it has a practical application in their lives. This season the field was Math.
