My name is Marla Wilkerson. I worked as a CPS worker for 10 years prior to going into education. My 20 years’ experience as a teacher has given me great insight as a principal I’ve been a principal for 10 years now and, even though it is extremely challenging, I love my work.
This is my seventh year as Chief School Administrator for Theodore Roosevelt School. These past seven years have been wonderful. We have been able to create a beautiful, comfortable environment conducive to teaching and learning. Our students and staff are some of the best people I’ve ever known.
I am looking forward to this year and know that we will care for these children and will live up to the trust that their parents have put in us to educate and love these young souls.
