April Bingham
April Axthelm Bingham joined the staff at Theodore Roosevelt School in 2021. April is a certified teacher in the states of Washington and Arizona. She graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in History and is in the process of completing her master’s degree from Western Governors University. April teaches Science and Home Economics here at TRS. Previously, April owned and operated a commercial construction company and has been credited with service as an elected City-Council member, board chair of many organizations, and was awarded the Paul Harris Fellow for her service to Rotary and her volunteer service in the Guatemalan highlands building a schoolhouse to help further the education of Guatemalan students. When she is not busy teaching, April enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with family.
